Gurit Prepreg SA80 Scrim 150gsm (1270mm Wide)

High performance OOA (out of autoclave) epoxy prepreg system by Gurit with a 200gsm 3k twill carbon reinforcement (see datasheets for material properties) 

The SE 75 prepreg system is an extremely versatile hot melt epoxy prepreg system. It has excellent handling performance with a large range of cure possibilities from 12 hours at 70ºC (158ºF) to 45 minutes at 120ºC (248ºF), whilst maintaining an 8 week shelf life at 18-22°C. This flexibility combined with its exceptional mechanical and thermal performance makes it suitable for a wide range of marine, automotive and industrial applications.

Storage And Handling

When not in use Se-75 prepregs should be stored in a sealed bag in a freezer at -18ºC (0ºF) this will ensure the product doesn't absorb moisture. 

Purchasing

Due to the sensitive nature of the product and handling requirements the material is precut to the roll lengths available in the options. This allows us to minimize the number of defrosts reducing the likelihood for moisture uptake and allow us to send the material straight from the freezer helping to keep the material life long during transportation.

WEATHER

Due to the temperature sensitive nature of the product if the weather is going to be over 35deg for multiple days during the shipment window the shipment will be delayed until appropriate weather conditions present. This is to maintain the material out life as long as possible and not damage the product in some extreme weather scenarios. Please contact us if the shipment is urgent and we will assist as best as we can.
